Chahta Holding Group History
Chahta Holding Group, Incorporated (CHG) was formed as an entity of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians (MBCI) with the purpose of providing one organization for all contracting needs of our clients. CHG consists of the following tribally owned subsidiaries: Chahta Construction, Incorporated (formerly named Choctaw Electrical Inc.); IKBI, Incorporated; Chahta Services, Incorporated (CSI); and Oklahikbih, Inc.
Chahta Construction, IKBI, CSI, and Oklahikbih are full service companies with expertise in project management and development, design/build, new construction, facilities operations & maintenance, and other services. The CHG family of construction firms has earned a reputation for delivering high quality performance including logistical sophistication, resource management, and tight controls. We embrace this recognition and make overwhelming strides to improve an already flawless record. Due to our Native roots, we are also especially aware of the importance of protecting the land and environment while participating in projects that stimulate economic development.
The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians (MBCI) is the only Federally Recognized American Indian Tribe in Mississippi since 1945. MBCI is committed to continue providing diversified services to Federal Agencies, State and Local Governments, Military, and Private Businesses as well as the Mississippi Choctaw Indian Reservations.
