Chahta Services Incorporated (CSI) was organized in 2009 under the name of Choctaw Design and Construction Services and renamed Chahta Services Incorporated in 2019.  The renaming was approved so that Chahta Services could offer various services outside the construction area. One goal is to provide specialized training services for government compliance in the area of cyber security. We intend to provide our clients with the tools necessary to be compliant with the DoD's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification framework, which will become a regular feature of defense procurement by September 2020.

Another goal is to use Virtual Reality as a training component for a variety of workforce skills and applications. An introductory project in this area was developing an app for NAVAIR that used VR to provide Aircraft maintenance training, with options for several languages, which would be portable, affordable, and easily updated as the training needs changed.

As industry needs change, so does the focus of our company.  Research indicates that service-based companies experience the most growth and stability, so we are turning more toward the services we can provide the federal government and the MBCI.

Chahta Services Incorporated plans to provide employment to Native Americans, to use partnerships with institutions of higher education in our state and local area, and to use a Mentor- Protégé arrangement to enhance our skills and business processes. With the assistance of the 8(a) certification, we hope to expand into markets that are harder to reach because of small business status.

The training facility, located on the Pearl River Reservation of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians (MBCI) has 4,000 SF of space. MBCI has continuously operated companies under the parent company of Chahta Holding Group since 1969.
