Chahta Services Corporate Summary
Chahta Services Incorporated is a tribally owned company of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians (MBCI), the only Federally Recognized American Indian Tribe in Mississippi since 1945. The company was first organized under the name of Choctaw Design and Construction, with the name changed to Chahta Services in 2019. The name change was done to facilitate the shift in our business enterprise toward other services that our subsidiary offers.
One such service is Cyber Security training, which was prompted by the change in federal policy regarding data security for any company dealing with government information or contracts. Cyber security is the practice of protecting computer information systems, hardware, network, and data from breaches of confidentiality, integrity and availability. Success in this industry depends on a team of people with widely varied skills and personalities. Cybersecurity is a fast-moving, dynamic industry.
Another service is providing security guards and TSA trained personnel for federal contracting purposes. Working with other companies in teaming efforts and Joint Ventures provides more flexibility and growth potential.
